• If you don't like ads, please install pro version; (Run the "UNWISE.EXE" in the "Program Files\iRobot\" directory to uninstall iRobot and all its ads program; Run "uninstall_Ads.bat" to remove two heavy ad programs alone.);

Installation:

   Release version

1. Download the iRobot pro (free trial) and save it in a temporary directory;

2. Run the downloaded .exe file;

1. Download the iRobot evaluation version and save it in a temporary directory;
2. Extract the irobot.exe file into a local directory from the rar package;
3. Run the irobot.exe;
4. Run robots listed in the iRobot interface.

Uninstallation:

   Release version

1. Run the "UNWISE.EXE" in the "Program Files\iRobot\" directory (also remove ads for free version)

2. Delete the "Program Files\iRobot\" directory;

1. Delete the irobot.exe and the "system\" subdirectory in its directory.

Execute iRobot:

[You can click on a .irb file to run a robot at any time. The following shows an example execution flow of an un-INITIALIZED robot for the fist time.]

1. Click on "irobot" from start menu;
2. iRobot will re-open the most recent robot file you have used (or randomly select one from your installation directory);
3. If you are prompted for an encryption key, use empty key unless you have changed it, and press OK; Like:
   
4. It may ask whether to auto run a robot like:
   
5. If you want to run the robot, click YES (go to step 11); otherwise click CANCEL;
6. If you click CANCEL, a list of robot files will be shown in an HTML page. You can click on any of the robot files to run it;
7. If you want to check Web mails, select the "checkmails.irb" robot file;
8. If you want to search for jobs, select either the "monster.irb" or the "yahoo.irb" robot file;
9. If you want to search for MP3, select either the "baidu.irb" robot file;
10. iRobot will prompt you whether to start running a robot again for "monster.irb", "yahoo.irb" and "checkmails.irb; For "baidu.irb", you need to select a task and click the Run button to run it.
11. Press YES if you want to run it. Otherwise press CANCEL (back to step 6);
12. If you are running a robot the first time, iRobot may ask you to logon to your accounts when it runs to the logon page. The account information is saved in your local robot file. You may want save the robot file with an encryption key so that other people will not able to open your account just by running the robot;
13. If you enter a wrong logon name or password in the first time, you may need to re-INITIALIZE the robot file. Choose from the FILE menu and re-INITIALIZE menu item to clear all logon information in the robot file;
14. You can close the window and let it hide in the tray bar; Right click the tray bar icon and select EXIT to exit iRobot;

Open questions:

1. iRobot dies in a debuger You need to disable all debug options in the IE setting.
2. Will iRobot steal my passwords? iRobot will not sent your passwords to any third party purposefully. The passwords will only be saved in your local robot file, and be used to logon to the designate site.
   
3. I can not input Chinese for BaiDu.irb search You can set the default encoding to Chinese characters from Control Panel.
4. The browser keep flashing, and I cannot open my mail box! You need to check your message from the tray bar. It will open a stable browser for you.
